DO YOU HAVE THE RIGHT MAKE UP AS YOU ACCESSORIZE?

It’s safe to say that Tote-Alley do lovely jewellery, bags and hair accessories, depending on the look you want to show or have, wearing the right make up will just about get the right look. Personally I love the afro fusion look. So, let’s talk about make up that goes with the accessory below

Face Primer: Wondering what this is? A face primer is one of the best ways to insure your makeup stays on longer. They pamper the skin and create a protective barrier. Primers are excellent for people with combination to oily skin. Just apply after moisturizer and let it sink into the skin for a few minutes, and carry on with your regular foundation routine.  It glides on and provides a smooth base for foundation. It also makes foundation last much longer plus you don’t need as much foundation as it provides a silky smooth base.

Flawless Foundation- Foundation brings life back to your cheeks and realness back to your skin. Get the right skin tone that matches with your skin, apply it over the face primer and what as your face transforms.

Mascara: Many people going for a natural look use brown mascara. It can make your lashes look longer or thicker, without darkening them to much.

Eyeliner: There are several eye liners in the market the most famous is black BUT you can become adventurous by wearing an eyeliner that is the same color with your eye shadow. This can be a purple or blue

Eye Shadow: This is one of my favorites because you can choose from a world of colors but depending on your skin colour plus the accessories you have chosen for the day. Wearing the same color as your eye liner makes you look so adorable.

ACCESORIZE WITH THE STATEMENT NECKLACE

Make your mark in maximum impact necklaces. Big necklaces, jeweled rings and bold bangles create stand - out style. Minimum Effort, Maximum results !!!!!
Bib, layered necklaces and unique metalwork have added an extra flair to basic outfits, you can't grow out of a good necklace.

The statement necklace is an EASY and high-impact accessory trend that is worth buying into. How to wear the statement necklace:

Show some skin: wear it with a low collar outfit.

Go strapless: work it with a strapless top or dress to bring it out more.

Layer it: You don’t have to invest in a chunky necklace. Just layer different matching necklaces and you will be amazed how it will transform your look.

Wear with a sweater/pullneck/collared shirt : Keep the shirt buttoned up all the way to the top, a flat statement necklace is the best to match up with this.

HOW TO WEAR AND ROCK COCKTAIL RINGS

Cocktail rings are big flashy rings that are timelessly fashionable. Different cocktail rings suit different personalities and age groups but at the end of the day all types of women out there can enjoy the beauty and fun that cocktail rings come with.

This British themed cocktail ring stocked by yours truly, Toteally Kenyashows that you are fun loving and at the same time has a girly sweetness to it. This type of cocktail ring can be worn on a day you are meeting up with friends for lunch or a few drinks at the club as it is quite versatile.

Looking for a classier look? The peacock ring is right up your alley. I don't know what it is about peacock themed accessories that just screams "POSH" , could be the fact that the animal itself is considered a beauty and well known to strut itself around. Combine it with a blue dress and a pair of killer heels and you are good to go.  Wear it at dinners, office parties - with a good manicure of course.

The guitar design ring is retro and best suited for the artsy, playful type of personality like a musician or a campus student. When I say playful I don't mean immature - far from it,  but more a fun loving person who is always a good laugh. Wear it with jeans, a nice fitting tee and a pair of ballet flats and you've got the look down.

All said, the type of cocktail ring you choose should be based on: your personality as well as the environment in which you operate from or the event which you will be attending. One wouldn't expect a senior executive to show up with the guitar ring at a black tie event as the message it may pass across may be deemed inappropriate given the setting. Check out our site for other fantastic rings.
