LUXE CHAINS ARE IN

Chunky chain necklaces are proving to be quite trendy. Seen gracing the necks of all the hottest celebrity ladies, including Jeniffer Lopez, Rihanna and Kim Kardashian these are certainly the go-to statement necklace of choice right now.

One particular favourite is the Celine ID Choker Chain Necklace. Kim K loves it so much she has it in gold and silver and has been seen finishing off her outfits on multiple occasions with the addition of one of these necklaces. Unfortunately, we can't all afford to splash out thousands of dollars on the real deal, so luckily for all you fashionistas on a budget, we've sourced a Celine replica, available now at Toteally Kenya.

Another chain seen repeatedly cropping up on all our favourite celebrity style icons is the Versace 'Lion Head' chain, and again Toteally Kenya have sourced a replica style so you can get the celebrity look for less! This one is sure to give maximum impact to any outfit and is equally capable of looking sophisticated and elegant when styled in a feminine manner as seen on Lilly Ghalichi and Nicki Minaj, as it is punky and edgy, Rihanna Style.

How to Put Hair in a Perfect Ballet Bun

Side Bun

Buns are hot!

Whether you're running errands at the supermarket, rocking out at a concert, or walking the aisle at your own wedding, this classic style keeps things simple and feminine while effortlessly pulling hair off your neck and out of your eyes. Great for keeping cool in hot weather and for polishing off your look, the timeless ballerina just became even easier with the help of... a doughnut!

For those who don't know, a doughnut is one of the recent hair accessories, shaped just like your ordinary doughnut, made of a mesh like material.  It gives your bun volume, shape and a lift while lending the bun a very sleek, formal appearance.

To pull off the look you would need:

  1. Comb hair into a pony tail. The pony will be the center of the bun, so place accordingly. Secure with an elastic, then slip the pony tail through your hair doughnut.
  2. Spread out hair over the doughnut. You can use a comb or a densely bristled brush to smooth hair over, or just your hands. Make sure your coverage is even and there's no mesh showing through.
  3. Secure another hair elastic around the base of the bun.
  4. Begin wrapping the dangling ends of the hair around the base of the bun. If you have thick or long hair, you'll probably want to pin the hair into the base of the bun to make it neater.
  5. Finish off by spraying your hair to lend it some sheen.
